I'm a working mixing engineer who got tired of rebuilding the same signal chains every session. So I started building Ableton effect racks — purpose-built processing chains for bass, vocals, mastering, the full mix. Those racks turned into a catalog of 20+ downloads that thousands of producers use every day.
Then I had ideas that couldn't live inside Ableton anymore. The racks became plugins — real VST3/AU instruments with custom DSP, built from the ground up in JUCE. Every plugin in the MR Audio catalog was born from an actual production problem, not a feature checklist. If I didn't need it in a session, it doesn't exist.
The long-term vision is the rack ecosystem — TheBassRack is the first one. Purpose-built signal chains for every stage of the mix, each powered by the same engines available as standalone plugins. More racks are coming.
